About Me

Cason Wight

I am data scientist, working on advertising technology at Microsoft. I love skiing, white-water rafting, tennis, and baking. I grew up in Oregon and have always felt a pull to the Pacific Northwest. Since graduating from BYU in 2021, I have worked from home just outside of Salt Lake City.

I am passionate about data visualization and interested in the trade-off between the accuracy of machine learning and the inference of statistical modeling. I am skilled in python, R, and several statistical methods. I am currently studying graph theory and NLP.
